robe de plage discount Saturday morning hair cut appointment = Daddy-daughter lunch date! Crepes for everyone!
Move over, Juliette Pastafingers. There’s a new star in town.
Juliette might not be ready for a big bed without guardrails quite yet….
Juliette and Papa had a wonderful Easter dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. After dinner, it was time for Juliette to do her favorite thing: watch videos of herself with Grandma!
The Easter Tree is a wonderful tradition in Alsace, where Juliette lives, and in the neighboring parts of Germany. Juliette decorated a beautiful Easter Tree at home with her nanny, Regine, and she thought that it would be a great idea to export the tradition to Washington. She and Grandpa did a great job of decorating the tree.
I guess it’s safe to say that Dad’s parents are pretty proud grandparents. 🙂
Dad was sent to Washington with a shopping list from Mom. Destination: Carters.
For those readers of Juliette’s blog who don’t have small children, it’s worth describing Carters. Dedicated to children’s clothes, the store is permanently 50% off and everything seems to be buy-two-get-one-free as well. As a result, it tends to have the same effect as an IKEA — you go in intending to buy one item, and you come out with a cart full of stuff you didn’t need and a wallet that’s $500 lighter.
Needless to say, Dad went a little overboard with his shopping trip. At least the kids will be well-dressed for the next three years. Let’s just hope the suitcase is big enough to get the whole haul back home.
